Last night I watched “Go Tell the Spartans” with Burt Lancaster as a Major in Vietnam (1964). The part of the draftee was played by Craig Wasson, he was the hippie in “The Boy In Company C” another Vietnam war movie made the same year (1978).   My memory of this movie was better than I found it,  this time.

It not the best Vietnam war movie nor the best use of  Burt Lancaster as an actor. But if you like action adventure war movies where the American get creamed. watch this movie.
