Here is what Bonnie said about the album:

“okay sorry,
I changed my mind! I want to have my cd be c’mon miracle by Mirah. I haven’t heard it yet either and I find this artist much more intriuging. Sorry!”

For the most part I felt C’mon Miracle has a very mellow sound but if you listen to the words, the lyrics are very intense. I don’t think I would buy this but I wouldn’t change the channel if it came the radio (if I was in a thoughtful mood).

For me there is something very erotic about a women that can talk/sing her songs. I’m sure it’s one of the reason torch singers are very popular and have been for a long time. She got the voice–but I’m not sold on this album. While the songs should be filled with emotion, they are not. Technically she has a solid voice, yet she doesn’t move me. As much as I’d like to enjoy giving her a good flogging, just can’t get there.

I liked it, but apparently I’m an easier to please person. Her voice was nice and relaxing. It’s upbeat enough to keep you into the music, but mellow enough to relax you. I like most lyrics unless they are completely idiotic (to me). So overall thumbs up!

I too was surprised how much I liked it. I really liked the feelings of the lyrics. It still isn’t really my style, but I liked the themes throughout what I could understand. There is something homosexual in “We are Both so Sorry”. Our main character is a prince and he is telling a sir to unbuckle. Mirah is a lesbian, so maybe that is why she couldn’t seduce you Chuck. I loved “You’ve Gone Away Enough”. I felt like it was written just for me. It has been a while since I felt matched by a song. The other songs were okay. This entire song really spoke to me. If I ever start up a career as a rockstar musician, I am going to have to cover this little diddy. I give the album a 3/5.
