Like "Nine Inch Nails", "Jerthro Tull" was really one man's vision-Ian Anderson. Yes several of the songs seem to work together---Aqualung and Cross-Eyed Mary --- My God and Hymn 43.

Guess Tom's pick moved me to this group, while the albums don't cover the same topics, they somehow seemed alike to me.

---------------------------------------------
And you spin in the slipstream --
timeless -- unreasoning --
paddle right out of the mess.
--------------------------------------------
This only works if you still have a paddle.

07/10 It's a Classic--one everyone should hear at least once---even if it's not their style.

Dad, I wanted to like this, I really did. The name is so cool- Aqualung! But the CD reminded me of the rock-operas we were talking about. Every song reminded me too much of the last one as if the CD were one big song. I wanted there to be distinct melodies or a change of tempo once in a while. It did have a really cool 70's feel but I just couldn't get into it! I tried, sorry I feel bad like I should have liked it because you are only picking the classics....
