John Ford directs 3 Godfathers and it stars John Wayne.

Three cowboys rob a bank and flee into the desert.  The desert changes these banks robbers into the three wise men, guided by God to a dry water hole to save a baby.  It’s a John Ford Christmas western.

The movie is filled with Ford’s stock acting company, John Wayne included. Ford is the master of the visual, watch his camera angles, use of sun and shadows.

How about when a Sheriff in a western says:”They ain’t payin’ me to kill folks.”
