A Lawless Street was directed by Joseph H. Lewis and stars Randolph Scott  as the town marshal, Calem Ware.  No surprises here, it’s a Randolph Scott western.

Bad guys want the marshal dead so they can run the town, marshal wants the town to become peaceable.  If you enjoy westerns, it’s not a bad one. It’s just like rest, so don’t look for anything different.

Calem Ware: I don’t know about that. I’d do as much if it were your funeral.
