Guest directed or wrote several fake documentary(mockumentary)style films. However I think we can call this one a dogumentary.

Here are characters- country boy Harry Pepper(Christopher Guest) with his bloodhound, Gerry & Cookie Fleck (Eugene Levy & Catherine O'Hara) with their terrior, yuppies Hamilton & Meg Swan (Michael Hitchcock & Parker Posey), gay dog groomers Scott Dolan & Stefan Vanderhoof (John Michael Higgins & Michael McKean), millionare Sheri Ann Ward Cabot (Jennifer Coolidge) and her trainer Christy Cummings(Jane Lynch).

Really enjoyed Stifler's Mom in this movie. Leslie Ward Cabot(Patrick Cranshaw)sitting all dressed up in a wheelchair while she talked about their dog really made me laugh. The rich old guy, the younger wife and her lesbian dog trainer really made a funny trio.
<em>
"It worked for my family... you know, until my mom committed suicide in '81"</em>

The movie made me laugh, but it's not what I'd call a great movie. Maybe it's the style, but I agree 06/10 from me.
