Spun is a drug film featuring Jason Schwartzman, Brittany Murphy, Mickey Rourke, and John Leguizamo.  It follows several different levels of drug involvement.  The cook, the dealer, the casual user, and the addict.

This was a pretty good movie.  I didn’t love it like most drug movies, but it was decent.  There wasn’t a lot of new aspects to this story here.  It was definitely entertaining.  It just could have been a lot better if there were more original pieces.  When he leaves the girl tied to the bed with the skipping CD was so terrible and funny at the same time.  That was a memorable scene.  More scenes like that would have made it much better.  There was some good grit like the toilet or the kid in the mobile home.  It just didn’t have that strong of a story.  Overall, it was better than most, but it could have been better.
